Good growth parameters with nitrate limitation. However, nitrogen-limited plants are less robust and grow more slowly.

Grows well at a steady rate in the aquarium as long as light and CO2 are at good levels. This plant should not be shaded and should have its own dedicated space in the aquarium.

 It is sensitive to KH and must be stored in low alkaline water.
