Substrate: Prefers a nutrient-rich base, but can adapt to inert substrates if water column fertilization is well managed.

 

Water Parameters: Grows best in soft, slightly acidic water (pH 5.5–6.8, GH 5–7, KH 2–3), with a temperature of 22–27 °C and conductivity around 150–200 µS.

 

Growth Speed: Moderate compared to most Ludwigia—easier to manage but still requires regular trimming.
