Its delicate, elongated leaves display a unique creamy-white tone with subtle green and golden reflections, a contrast rarely found in aquatic plants.

Cultivation requires strong lighting with high PAR values (minimum 50–60 µmol), CO₂ injection (20–30 ppm), and a complete fertilization regime rich in iron and micronutrients to prevent chlorosis and maintain the white coloration. Water parameters: pH 5.5–6, GH 6–7, KH 2, conductivity 150–200 µS. Growth is moderate, faster than Bucephalandra but slower than Rotala, allowing for stable aquascaping layouts.

Curiosity: the “white” form was stabilized after years of careful selection, making each specimen a true collector’s piece. Due to its rarity, only a few mother plants are available, and demand always exceeds supply.
