Syngonanthus sp. “Giant”

A rare and striking Syngonanthus with a much larger and more vigorous growth habit than compact forms such as “Pedra”. It develops long, narrow, arching leaves arranged in dense rosettes and can form impressive multi headed clumps over time.

Its larger size makes it especially suitable for the midground or background of high tech planted aquariums, where it can become a strong focal plant.

Fertilization

Keep nitrate and phosphate consistently available and avoid allowing them to reach zero. Stable CO₂, soft water, and regular nutrient supply are more important than excessive fertilizer dosing.
